Miami fans are being cocky again. Last time they were #1 how did that work out vs Bama.

Miami was unbeatable that year Heisman winner tons of NFL speed and early 3rd quarter the game was over. Miami took an old fashioned physical beat down.

Bama is better this time and Miami is a shell of what it was back then.

Didn't UNC skull drag Miami last year?

1991 has no bearing on this year's game....

What does 1991 have to do with anything?

Remember how the piped up in 2018 Burrow’s first order of business at LSU’s quarterback was to send them back into irrelevance?

Miami talked a lot of shite last time they played LSU to open the season...then found themselves losing 33-3 in the 4th quarter. the last time they beat a P5 team to open the season was against BC in 2012.

Yes for 800 yards and Bama has 3rd teamers that would start at UNC.

Their fans were a super cocky bunch before the LSU game. Most quit on their team right before halftime and left. It was hysterical!

62-26 - (34 unanswered points in the first half)

That's the same UNC team that Aggy beat in the bowl game.

Wouldnt be surprised if it was close at halftime just because Bama lost a ridiculous amount of great players on offense. But I bet they have a really difficult time scoring on Bama. D'Eriq King struggles passing downfield and they dont have any really scary skill position guys

Any LSU guys go to the Chick-Fil-A bowl or the Arlington opener against Miami? What was the crowd split like?

Four teams played 1992 Miami within a TD. Three teams were within a FG.

Why not?

The media and everybody else here claims that the Alabama team we played October 3 was the same team that Georgia, Notre Dame et al played later that year.

At least Miami is a name brand. UCF is really just a 8A High School team most years.

In case you are real young ESPN and the media picked Miami in a blow out. Miami players claim they would win by 40 plus.

I had forgotten about that game.

UNC rushed for over 500 yards - had one kid with 308 and another with 236; both averaged over 10 ypc.

If not for a missed 37-yard FG, UNC would have scored on every drive that wasn't at the end of a half.

Miami running their mouths after that kind of game last year reminds me of their WR who was running his mouth AFTER Miami got obliterated by Alabama in the Sugar Bowl (the same guy who got run down and stripped by Teague, but still ran his mouth afterwards).

Miami is like USC, in that those beatdowns never seem to stop them from running their mouths (USC, by the end of the of the season, was 10-3 and saying that a rematch would go differently - despite losing 52-6).

I'd put money on our incoming Freshman class alone being able to beat Miami.

No they’re not

I grew up in Miami, most of my family and friends are UM fans to some degree. No one outside of online fanatics think they have a shot vs Alabama. Not 1 soul.
