I'm saying that national presence, thus national pulse, as a college football power, requires more than never getting out of your own division, much less even Atlanta, and sustaining success longer than a 5-minute egg.

Presence and Pulse isn't the same as a Power.

Those words don't hold the same weight.

What does this even mean? We won two straight NY6 bowls. I know that isn't a natty but it's not like we went to a fricking Liberty bowl.

much less even Atlanta,

Not a working benchmark if the team that DID go to Atlanta won the national championship. By that logic no other team in college football had a national presence/pulse those years.

to shorten this up.....you're being stupid. Stop being stupid.

It is the way I use it. But then I'm a BAMA fan, so there is that. You may just have to live with it.

Wasn't like you were in Atlanta either. You know that place you go when you are the best the SEC has to offer? The best team Hugh Freeze put on the field at Ole Miss couldn't beat ARKANSAS, when they had to, to simply find their way to Atlanta. Hell no to this national pulse stuff.

You guys have truly been in the wilderness a while. Lots of teams win their division, win their conference, win their way to a playoff spot. They certainly have that college football "national presence and pulse."

Not like Michigan, during Harbaugh's tenure, who still hasn't gotten out of their own division. At the same time, Michigan State has, Penn State has, Ohio State has, Michigan hasn't. Win something besides a bowl dude.
