Probably more like >70. Since 1971 (when those 50 y/o were born), LSU is ahead 33-15-1. OM did a lot better against LSU the 20 years prior (1951-1970).

Then again, maybe the kids of those 70+ were raised to see LSU as a rival, so that might count the 50+ age group.

I think a lot of OM fans just say LSU is a bigger rival to mess with State fans, like MSU is beneath them. Even though State has won more Egg Bowls over the last 30, 20, 10, and 5 years.

You're giving yourselves too much credit in thinking we're taking your thoughts into consideration when we talk about our rivalries.


Don't get me wrong. The Egg Bowl is big game. But we get fricking hyped for LSU weekend and demand it go back to Halloween. Meanwhile....them moving the Egg Bowl back to the traditional Thanksgiving Day pisses us off because it fricks with our dinner plans.
