I was just told by someone in the know that discussions were happening and this would be an epic letdown

I haven't heard anything. Gottlieb says cases will peak in the coming weeks just in time for the start of the season so I hope it doesn't interfere.

I really don't think outdoors will be affected with all of this
It's amazing all of this is coming to a head with start of school on the horizon

70% of the adults in this country have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. If this vaccine is worth anything at all, there's simply no point in continuing the social distancing and mask charades.

Unless it's state mandated I don't expect there will be limited capacity again. Towns lost millions of dollars last season due to limited capacities. Another season of that would absolutely destroy these places.

Kinda worried here Hairy Dawg. Auburn sent us an email that Penn State was sending more tickets our way. My priority I was able to ask for 4. They took my order but stated they (Auburn) was waiting on Penn Stars to send the tickets. So far….. no tickets.

They have to make this last until the Fall of 2022. All about mail in voting.

We'll see. So far the vaccine has been very effective against the delta variant in the U.S. I read that 97% of all severe cases are now in the unvaccinated.

Of course, it's a virus, constantly mutating, and the first vaccine developed isn't the long-term solution. I would not be surprised if restrictions were in place. I don't like it either, but it is what it is and there's nothing you can do about it except not be ignorant and try to spread the disease further.
