How many times in the past 30 years or so have we had to play Kentucky twice?
If ever there was a year to do it, this is it.
New coach, gutted roster, we’re loaded and stacked with veterans.

Never heard of him before you asked. I watched some of his videos. He doesn't seem to have a recruiting profile on ON3. Is he a prospect somewhere?

Green Bay is set to hire Doug Gottlieb as its next head coach, source told @thefieldof68.
Gottlieb, 48, was a standout point guard at Notre Dame before working in media for the past two decades - at ESPN, CBS and now at FOX, hosting his own daily radio show.
Gottlieb will also continue to do his daily FOX radio show.

Sears apparently hurt or something because he isn't participating in the scrimmages (or even on the bench).

Hell naw. Lol.
I’m surprised Trent Dilfer didn’t try this shite so he could be a bad coach and a bad tv personality at the same time.

Definitely not going to help his stock by not playing but NBA teams have game film and specifically, game film from this past March Madness to see he has game. I love the guy but I selfishly want him back at Bama for a title run. Open up the wallet!

Nothing on the major college level. Trying to get him a scholarship at the lower levels.

It seems like the Mica Merriman situation is a lot like Jeremy Monceaux. Dad is the coach and putting up crazy numbers against nobodies. Gaston is just a couple of enter and exit signs going to Rome, Ga, if I remember right. Not the Gadsden you're thinking about.

It's a bit confusing. He goes to the Gaston High School that's in Gadsden.
Not to be confused with Gadsden City High School, which is also in Gadsden, but in an entirely different school district.

Love this post. Looking at the data i think Jarin is due for a bump in athleticism. He is the youngest in that group by a few years and the time in a college S&C program shows up in those metrics. He will be able to add some weight, strength, and explosiveness just from getting older.
It will be interesting to see how the staff tries to develop his skillset. Surely we gotta assume they will continue to work on his 3 pt shooting. He can be an effective post player with his size. But you have to get comfortable working from in the paint. I think he has shown some good ability at attacking the rim but we havent seen him use many post moves. Oats likes to move the ball from inside to out so he will probably try to develop his passing from the paint more than a bag of shimmies and shakes.

I believe nelson is going to benefit the most with another offseason and year under oats.

I think most transfers from mid-majors need 2 years to really shine. That, plus Nelson won't be asked to play the 5 spot much this year. If he could knock down 33% of his threes next year, he'd be invaluable.
