AU made the 3 at about 4% higher rate than Bama and was 4th in the Country in 3 point shooting. They still had over 450 Offensive rebounds. Which was the original question. You keep digging.

38.1% vs. 35.5%, so no.

21st, so no.

18-19 Auburn: 9.9 offensive rebounds per game.

20-21 Alabama: 10.1 offensive rebounds per game.

You are impressively bad at this.

Ok, let's keep digging.

2018-19 Auburn
34.2 rebounds per game, 11.4 offensive.
6th in the SEC in offensive rebounds per game.
11th in the SEC in total rebounds per game.

2020-21 Alabama
40.3 rebounds per game, 12.0 offensive.
6th in the SEC in offensive rebounds per game.
1st in the SEC in total rebounds per game.

Auburn on the season was 37.7% from 3, Alabama is currently sitting at 35.5% - a difference of 2.2%. More interestingly, 2018-19 Auburn averaged 11.4 made 3s on 30.1 attempts per game. Alabama in 2020-21 is averaging 10.7 mad 3s on 30.1 attempts per game.

On average this season's Alabama team has a whopping 0.7 more offensive rebound chances off missed 3s than Auburn did in 2018-19 and amazingly averages 0.6 more offensive rebounds per game than 2018-19 Auburn.

Auburn did indeed have 456 offensive rebounds in 40 total games played. Alabama's played 27 games thus far. Even if they were to win both the SEC tourney and national title, they'll only play 35 games. They won't match that 456 total, so congrats I guess?

Actual facts don't lie. Side by side both teams are statistical mirror images with Auburn being an ever so slightly better 3 point shooting team and Alabama being an ever so slightly better rebounding team.

So, that's a lot of digging. Is your hole deep enough now? Can we start throwing the dirt in on top of you or would you like to be buried deeper?
