Who was really good that they played in the SEC ? Most of the SEC Teams were there in name only.

The 10 game all SEC schedule made it appear to down vs a normal season. That gave an additional 28 losses total for SEC teams.

You can for the most part add-subtract 3-4 wins-losses to every teams records.

lsu is an easy example, finished 5-5 and they lost both of the additional SEC games that replaced scrubs. For a typical season they 9-3 or 8-4 at worst. They would have been viewed much differently.

Aub is 8-4 vs 6-4 , and so on.

Minus Bama, the SEC sucked as a whole. The best D was average. The SEC only schedule look good on paper, but only produced a few good games.

Glad to know someone else understands this. Arkansas finished 3-7 but lost both add on games in Florida and Georgia. We would have gone 3-5 against our original schedule and 3-1 in non conference to finish 6-6. Not Bama level but still way better than the 2-10 we went last year. The all-SEC 10 game schedule just painted an inaccurate picture of how good teams actually were.
