You seem to define "not lose you games" by "screwing up so badly you hand the game to the other team," but missing open receivers, failing to see open receivers, waiting too long to run, burning timeouts, ... also lose games.

He won 8 in a row, 7 by double digits. I don't think you understand what "loses games"

You never know what loses games until the game is over. And people always point to that ONE thing. That one missed tackle in Q4. That one dropped ball. But usually there were opportunities before that ONE event that would have made it inconsequential.

My kids are packers fans. They lamented a WR earlier this season for a fumble. I had to remind them of their cheering for the same guy's awesome 50 yard play earlier to set up a touchdown.

Recency bias often determines heroes and goats (not to be confused with GOATs) unfairly.

Mond is probably neither hero nor goat, but served admirably this year as a good placeholder until hopefully an actually good QB is an option.

I think we do all need to be cognizant of the fact that high schools aren't creating Jimbo (and thus NFL) qbs these days. That will make them hard to find. But it will also draw them to Jimbo.

I think you missed the point or else you're trolling.

Plus, he did not win 8 in a row. The team won 8 in a row.
