I’ve been to a few places over the years in the south but never to the capitAL. Is it a happening place these days? I say this because there are now TWO postseason bowls - Montgomery Bowl and Camellia Bowl, both in the Cramton Bowl.

Montgomery is alive and very "happening", as you say. If you are planning a visit, my recommedation is to hang out in the Capitol Heights area of downtown Montgomery.

It's a walking paradise with sidewalks everywhere and many fine restaurants to enjoy. Leave your car at the hotel, catch a clean city bus to Capitol Heights with your family, and just spend the day walking around looking at all the old, beautiful homes.

Pack a lunch, if you aren't the restaurant type, and have a picnic at one of the beautiful and scenic parks in the area. It's an experience you or your family will not soon forget.
