Mississippi State is working four options for attendance this year

I'm sure other SEC schools have similar plans.
Option 1: Normal, non-restricted attendance. This plan includes possible use of masks, reduced options at concessions (Think everything fast paced - all bottled drinks). This is obviously the preferred option.
Option 2: 50% capacity. The most complicated for a myriad of reasons. Family units could be seated together, but would be space between. Those with lower level seats may be in the upper deck, Those with seats on the 45 may be on the 10, etc. This is not the preferred option.
Option 3: Students, Player Families and Suites Only. Easier to implement than Option 2 but dramatically less people in attendance.
Option 4: No fans.

I will be watching from home, but if these snowflakes keep it up, I wont be watching.

If you have 50% capacity at a football game, you may as well allow 100%. You can’t social distance with 50%.

Option 2 will basically be impossible.

Option 5, protect old people as well as we can and let young people do whatever the hell they want.
Which is what we should have done the entire time.

Are any of the four options sans those trashy clangas?

Option 2 would be a trainwreck.

All of those options are bad. I don't see how they can enforce all of those rules with that many people.

Season ticket holders only. Require mask usage. Sorry to anyone who only buys tickets to a game or two but those of us who donate and have tickets should be able to attend

I’ve been an OM season ticket holder for most of my life and I’d rather shoot myself in the face than wear a mask to a game in September

What we have here is a case of "Petty Tyrants"...theyre all falling over themselves to try and prove who the greatest leader is. Tinker Tyrants. They'll keep it up forever until the mob pushes back on them.

I saw where Texas governor told state ADs In a conference call Friday that it is highly unlikely capacity above 50% will be allowed.
Gonna be a weird season if played.

There’s no way anyone is wearing masks to a 2:30 game in the middle of September.

Not in the heat and the direct sun. I have been to a game when it was hot and paramedics were called to put a passed out man on the stretcher.
It would be cruel and unusual punishment.

At 50%, at most Stadiums you would still have 50,000 using bathroom facilities.
Be tough to social distance at halftime with bathroom breaks and concessions.

Anything other than option 1 is going to make every game seem like the Birmingham Bowl.

Won't have to worry bout full stadiums... ain't happening regardless.
