I think we might do that for a year and look around and go "Why the hell aren't we just doing this all the time?"

the GOAT national champion.

The team that won that would be legendary.

Obligatory Josh Kendall is a fricking asshat comment from the Gamecock fans.

I think the team with the best record should host in this scenario, they'll undeniably have earned it

Basically the National Championship.

Maybe we can let Clemson in at the end if they want.

We will make our money.

Yep. Head to head would be the tiebreaker. Haven't done the math on this, but how likely would it be to have the top 3 teams with the same record at the end of the season? Top 4?

I'd be excited to play a full SEC schedule like the rest. Would be fun to watch.

Clemson Tiger perspective.

The more I think about it, the more I think it is a good solution. Many states and governors won’t have the stomach for getting even a small spike. We will figure out a way to deal with our governor.

I'm guessing it would be more like a 10 game season (13 games vs SEC teams probably would be a bit much of a grind), so we wouldn't all play eachother, but it'd be a lot of fun.

They could even make it a test run for some of the new scheduling ideas. It'd be a one off season so why not assign everyone 2-3 rivals and do the rest via some sort of strength of schedule?

Could be really cool.

I’d be 100% in favor of this if we didn’t have Texas at home this season. Even still, trade it off for a trip to Knoxville or Athens and it’s very enticing.

I mean, if the SEC does it the Big Ten is probably going to find a way, cause they aren’t going to Just let the SEC just go on all by themselves. Franklin has stated that if the have some schools playing the BTC will probably play in some way. Texas and Oklahoma, too, so I don’t expect just the SEC.

See if 2 other teams want to join in from another conference and do 4 pods with 4 teams.

Play 3 teams in your pod, 2 from the other 3 and then a rival game for a 10 game season.

Each pod champ gets in to the playoffs. Sets up semi and final for the championship.

Hopefully, things are clearer by June --- while I would miss college football,I do worry that the lack of training and conditioning could lead to injuries that no one wants to see.

But personally, I would love to see each SEC team play each other in a season.

It’s a game being played by spry young kids. They’ll be fine. We didn’t always have this heightened level of conditioning. Even 20 years ago.

No. There is one thing ESPN cares for more than politics. MONEY
