If anyone's interested in Lsu baseball, go to tiger rant and open the thread pinned to the top of the page ,should be titled something like, Lsu baseball preview, or something similar to that.
Just from the pitching, Lsu will have a chance to win it all, anyone that doesn't include us in a conversation about potential sec champions, either doesn't know what we will have this year or they have a hate for Lsu, for some reason.
Should hit with more power this year then last and we will be better in the bullpen. midweek starter contributors will be better as well.
I would be shocked if our record isn't 5 wins better then last year and 2 to 4 games better, in conference, then 2019

User Adam4848 is the baseball expert, especially when it comes to Lsu baseball. I think he's at all 10, or so, preseason scrimmages. He would be the best person to ask about the upcoming sec baseball season,i think.
Adam, do you know as much about the whole conference, or at least the west, as you do about Lsu baseball?
Also, would you agree with my first post in this thread?

ScubaTiger is the one that posts all of the scrimmage information. I'm still there most of the time.
I do follow the SEC closely, yes.
As you said the pitching is going to be much deeper this year. Hitting will be slow to pick up at first but there's a ton of power on this team and an actual hitting coach so that will determine how far LSU is able to go.

Back to the SEC Auburn and LSU bring back alot of arms.
Arkansas and Miss St. bring back some really great bats.
A&M has the best Friday night guy in the West.
Ole Miss has to replace alot in the lineup but brings back two great arms.
As always the SEC West is going to be brutal.

We open with Wright State who won 40+ games last year and will be in the tournament. Then we play Oregon State the following weekend
Not the same Pat Casey Oregon State but still that’s a damn tough back to back series to start the season.

wouldn't shock me if anyone but Alabama (and maye Ole Miss) won the division, conference, or CWS. Just so many awesome teams, per usual
It's going to be a down year for Ole Miss this year. We replaced a ton of offensive production. Pitching will probably be improved, but lots of first year starters at the plate this year. We're gonna have to figure out how to manufacture runs this season.

Does it really matter? We all complain about Vandy but their going to us all. Everyone else is just playing for second place in the SEC.

Stop me if you've heard this before, but A&M will have the arms but probably not the bats. Unless the lineup takes a major step forward on offense, I just don't see them being able to grind it out over conference play.

I see the topic as invalid, soon as you left out the East.

Arkansas and Auburn will finish 1-2 in some order. Best bats and arms in the west.
Then you have LSU, State, and TAMU (if their pitching holds up).
OM
Bama, who I think could maybe make a run for 6th.
Two national seeds
Two more regionals
Two more tournament teams

LSU
MSU
Arkansas
Auburn
A&M
Ole Miss
Bama
1-4 are too close to call and I expect all 4 to host a regional come NCAAT time.
This might be our best hitting lineup we have had in the SEC. It will be hard to top 2018 but these boys have a chance.

If some of those newcomers come on strong I can see it...Martin and Kjerstad both could be first team all americans. Crazy because that 2018 lineup was so deep.

Didn’t Auburn lose some key pieces of their rotation?

They lost two great relivers but the two main guys Burns and Owens are back along with Greenhill their closer.
They also bring 5 of their top 7 hitters from a year ago. Losing Julian and Holland will take alot of their "pop" away but they never were a big HR team from a year ago and excelled at 2B's.

I had it in my head that Mize was their last year. I’m ready for the season to start.

Luke Hancock is going to be really good. Has a cannon for an arm and will hit close to .300.
