The dude is coming to live in Starkville for 8 months. He isn’t retiring in north MS.
He’s coming to play Qb for a guy who will make him a top qb draft pick. It’s odd but the smartest move he could make for his future is to move to Starkville MS.....hence why he’s coming.
I don’t see where the hangup is. Dudes going to throw for 5 miles next season barring health.
He had 10 of his offensive lineman hurt at Stanford this season, btw. Season ending. Plus his own injuries. So stats are skewed.
We havnt had a real QB in Starkville.... once or twice in 20 years. This kid will have the boomers hooping and hollering.....fricking pearls bouncing everywhere in the bleachers.

I wasn’t suggesting otherwise.
I was merely responding to the poster who was citing San Francisco, rather than Palo Alto.

Probably as importantly, he's leaving a coach who basically puts restraining bolts on all his players and going to play for a coach who, although almost certainly insane, probably gives his QBs a bit more leeway.
