Burrow is a whole different qb than he was last year and it’s not just the different scheme.

Burrow didn’t have accuracy issues last season like Nix this season.

He’s also being protected by a good offensive line. He’s also throwing to multiple NFL-starter-caliber receivers. He’s also complemented by a few stout running backs who consistently catch the ball and make people miss.

Oh, and his offensive scheme reflects one of the best offenses in the NFL.

This is a foolish thread and one that will lead to the typical frustrated Auburn fan. Morris might improve us but there’s no reason to believe we will have an NFL-style offense. Our offensive line is being completely replaced. Our receivers are decent but no where near the level LSU has.

Our hope is not to try and replicate LSU but rather to get back to what made Gus a good offensive coordinator: downhill running game and tempo.

The best thing you can do when these guys start this is just sit back and watch.

Its a fools errand to try to inject any kind of reason.

Our receivers can improve. LSU receivers were nothing like they were this year, but Brady put in some drills for them in off season and the results speak for themselves. However, the rest of your post is pretty accurate.

If anyone is hoping for Nix to have a major turnaround and improvement on the level of Burrow is delusional.

OL is a huge component to all of this as you pointed out, and I have big doubts we improve even a little bit. I am expecting a step back on that actually.

They had almost the same completion percentage. Burrow has made leaps and bounds in his accuracy this year.

Burrow and Nix had the exact same completion percentage. Both at 58%, I remember correctly burrow throwing all kind of bad passes.
