Very informative post, OP. Some teams can't avoid that 0 from Bama.

Well - what is the correction?

bama did it on 4th and short down 27-0 against LSU in the early 2000s

Way to take a stand bro!
Texas A&M 25, Vanderbilt 0 is the one he is missing from 2015.

So you're saying that USCe did NOT shut anyone out during that period? OK gotcha.

I have 22 shutouts. I think you’re missing UGA 34, Missouri 0 in 2014
Otherwise, nice job.
ETA: I didn’t read the entire thread initially. I guess I should ask how many times the OP was edited.

At least check your posts before you make dumb claims. 2012 Bama LSU wasn’t a shut out. LSU actually had the lead till the final moments.
The BCS Championship was not a conference game.
Gosh... gee I’m sorry for reminding you of that 21-0 horror story shutout. I certainly didn’t mean to cause a PTSD-type melt by you, Boudreaux and Thibadeaux, and their buddys.
An experienced college football commentator and odds maker I know here in New Orleans opined that if a team doesn’t cross the 50 yard line when posting a goose egg, the shutout should count twice. But I didn’t do that out of respect.
I can now see how that 21-0 would sting even 7-8 years later and it was rude of me to bring it back up among seriously damaged fans. Try this... post 44-16 about fifty times in any random line in the next 12 hours. It should make you feel better.... it has certainly helped people like William. Hope you get better when you start taking the new meds and try the therapy I just suggested. Best Wishes...

Amazing between LSU and Alabama fielding those defenses, there was only one shutout during the 2011 season.

Yep edited OP about four-five times trying to get it right. This started because I thought with the onset of RPI, spread, HU offenses that shutouts would be on the way to extinction, so wanted to get a data base to track.
Well... It is a tough project to examine the results of 560 games. I was originally going to go back to about year 2000 out of curiosity... but dealing with the yearly individual team records got progressively more difficult.
I appreciate others correcting the records.

We somehow scored a TD on both.
