And to answer your original question, it has become incredible hard to just watch and enjoy Auburn football. I can watch any other game and just enjoy watching football.
Watching Auburn has become a chore. Multiple factors are at play there. Partly I’ve become so invested in it both emotionally and financially that I want it to be as good as I k ow it can be. Another part is that we’ve been shown how good this staff can have teams play, and seeing them consistently look like they have no idea what they are doing is maddening.

I can understand that and I share some of the same frustrations. I guess I had an epiphany at my daughter’s volleyball that I wanted to try and just enjoy her and her team play without expectations. Try to disconnect the investment you brought up. It was difficult at times but when I was able to it was more fun.
I know it’s not exactly the same but I am going to try doing it more and see how it works. Lol
