And he barely played at UA compared to all the other studs.

First back with 100+ yards from scrimmage and 2 rush TDs in his NFL debut since Ladanian Tomlimson.

He could be!

Downvote if you DO NOT think he will be.

Don't try to distract us from the fact that Texas gave us the Heat Treatment...

Ingram had a slow start to his career and while a very solid pass catching option he isn't the dynamic receiver Jacobs is.

If I'm wrong it because Ingram continues to crush for a few years now that he's the focus in a run first offense.

The last 4 years or so Mark Ingram has been the most underappreciated back in the league

Idk Henry and Ingram are pretty damn good. Drake is too when they give him the football.

But Jacobs is a stud also

While he might very well end up being the best Alabama RB in the NFL, I should point out that both Alabama RBs mentioned earlier (Ingram and Henry) also had great games.

Ingram got over 100 yards, averaged over 7 yards per carry, and got 2 TDs
Henry had over 150 APY, and 2 TDs.

Shawn Alexander could be a border line hall of famer one day.

His career got cut a bit too short to make the HoF.

It was a pretty good career, just didn't last long enough to get in probably.

Alexander was a great back at Bama and had a solid career in the NFL

I mean, Ingram is at the very end of his career.

If anything, it's more disrespectful to Derrick Henry, who still has several good years ahead of him, barring injury, of course.

I didn't realize the OP was talking all-time.

Yes, Shaun Alexander is the best Bama NFL back. I don't think he'll ever be in the HOF, but at one point he was the all time single season TD record holder.

He's also a personal favorite player. He was a valedictorian in high school and an actual student in addition to being an athlete. I have a lot of respect for guys who can successfully do both.

The reason Josh will be so good is precisely this

He has very little wear and tear on him. Still has plenty of tread left.

Very happy for him. He has a great back story coming from Oklahoma. Good luck to him in the NFL. He's obviously not in it just for the paycheck. Seems like a great kid.

Josh Jacobs is proof that the American Dream is still alive and well. Dude grew up with nothing in Oklahoma, worked his butt off, and is now a multi-millionaire playing in the NFL.

and he never started a game at Alabama. Never got the majority of carries in any game. Makes Saban look like an idiot tbh.

People don’t want to admit it, but Saban sucks at fielding his best players.

This will get downvoted by a lot of Bama fans but it's the absolute truth.

It's not like Damien Harris was averaging over 7 yards per carry in Jacobs's freshman and sophomore years or anything.

Jacobs and Harris split carries just about evenly last year.
