I was hoping for Gatewood but I’m ready to roll without Bo.

I will sit beside you. I felt Gatewood was the better style of QB for a Gus offense but I trust what the coaches saw at practice and not what we discussed here to be more reliable

He’s a better runner than most give him credit for.

Probably. But he looks small to me and some weight would do him some good. Im talking thin, not tall. I like his speed and I hope Gus has taught him how to carry the football. In all his high school videos, he is carrying it out wide like a loaf of bread. Dont like that.

The fact of the matter is Bo scored TDs in the scrimmages and Joey didn’t.

This is such a hard thing to determine. Who knows who was on the field. If he was allowed to read or just run a set play. I mean, we are talking about practice. Non contact practice.

I do agree with jville, which never happens, that Gatewoods upside is the hope that his size will help him run power. That gives our offense a different dimension if the Oline is subpar. Since we dont really know what they can do running the ball and we are basing our opinions on size and dimensions, I will just go with Gustav's decision and hope Nix balls out and is a 3 year starter for Auburn.

I will ride the bus, drive the bus or change a flat time. Whatever I am asked to do

I'm excited to see Bo at QB. Has to be one of the highest QB recruits we have ever had, and I'm hopeful that him beating out a freak athlete with 1 more year of experience is a testament to how good he can be. I thought he looked like the more polished QB in the spring game, by all accounts he has been the more consistent QB during fall camp, and I think he is way underrated as a running threat. Time will tell, but I'm excited to see it unfold in a few weeks.
