I’m just a huge fan to be honest. I don’t doubt he will struggle at times throwing the ball, but he has room to grow. NM, Cam, Dak Prescott, and others all improved as the year and the seasons went along, and I think Gatewood will too if we stick with him. Prescott sucked throwing the ball his first year. An opponent said Nick Marshall wasn’t a real QB. If we demoted him week 5, then who knows what happens.
Obviously we don’t have to stick with Joey because we also have Bo. I think we have two talented QBs and only one football, so something will give.
You need to ask JvilleTiger though. He’s watched him play and lives in Jacksonville I assume.

Prescott is probably a pretty good gauge of what I think we should expect from Joey this year. He may be a little more polished at this point, but that is probably a realistic expectation. We will be a much better team, so I think Joey's stats should be much better than Dak's were his first year starting.
