REM sucks.

I watched part of a REM documentary a while back on some random channel I didn't even know I had and nearly barfed at how pretentious and self-important these frown-faced out-of-touch snobs were and are.

Stipe and Buck in particular are loathesome humans.

Wait, you love the Atl.

Our AD was run by morons since the 80s. Thank God a legacy found his way home and has us operating at the proper level in football.

As it pertains basketball, wtf! We are in the outskirts of Atlanta and have sucked since harrick.

I upvoted the unpopular ones, though.

If it's in keeping with an unpopular opinion I upvoted. Maybe that was the wrong approach.

“Glory, Glory to Ole Georgia” is a crappy fight song. We basically share a song with Auburn. How does that make sense?

We may hate “Rocky Top,” but damn if it isn’t original.

Hail to Georgia is a great fight song that we never use except for the pregame.

Wish we’d play more Georgia or Southern-centric music during games, like Bama does with Dixieland Delight and LSU with Callin Baton Rouge, Louisiana Saturday Night, and Born on the Bayou.

Chicken Fried and Georgia On My Mind should 100% be mainstays at games. The former could be played over film reels of Savannah, Augusta, Blue Ridge, Cumberland, Macon, Okefenokee, etc and the latter could be our version of singing an alma mater post game (wish the team did more in the way of gathering in front of the band and doing something like that despite a win or loss)

Say what you will about Suntrust Park being an office park stadium that could be located in any city in America but at least the Braves try to make up for it with Georgia and Southern centric imagery, music, and hype.

Can’t figure out why the Georgia Bulldogs who claim to Run This State don’t do more to actually, you know, promote the state they play for in games

Glory was a means of civil disobedience when the Legislature made it illegal to play Dixie.

Au, Colorado, us and a few others use it.

Wish we just would create our own and do away with all the depressed pregame shite. The lone Soloist is both cool and depressing at the same time and I am torn on it but think pregame should be about whipping the crowd into a frenzy.

And for frick sake, throw Tara's theme on the trashpile of history as Krypton.

At least he’s singing about pecan pie. I’ll let the mispronunciation slide for the sake of content and harmonious delivery

I actually think the solo trumpeter and Larry montage would be cooler before the 4th quarter as opposed to pregame. The krypton thing is still cool with the addition of the lights at night. Players love it, media loves it, and opposing fans take notice (especially when we are on the road)

Even though I don't always agree with law enforcement in Athens (or anywhere else), I'm glad that, unlike quite a few college towns in the SEC, they don't give UGA athletes favorable treatment.

I've been campaigning at the grassroots for almost a decade to get a sticker of the Georgia flag or an outline of the state borders put on the back of the football helmets.

Almost every other SEC school, and many many more across the country all have state flags or state outlines on back of the helment. But, we're stuck with the red white and blue imperial flag of the federal government to show that we are good little submissive subjects who love our rulers in the swamp and that we voluntarily reject our own local identity, rights, and traditions.
