Would be an epic hire but I don't know if he wants to leave the NFL.

I, also, enjoy vast amounts and varieties of cooter

I've accepted the Will Friend promotion and will be pleasantly surprised with anything else

A month and a half and no OC, looks like we will strike out. *sigh*

No guys relax. Long drawn out coahing searches are our thing. We always end up on top.
1-2 weeks is normal
3-4 weeks is suspicious
5-7 weeks is a joke
8+ weeks is Tennessee football

VQ war room update mentioned Pruitt and Tamaurice Martin have been in discussions about Tee coming home as a position coach with a possible co-OC title

I'm cautiously optimistic

Didn't Sark work with Tee at USC? Getting them both at Tennessee would put me at full mast

Yeah someone mentioned that on nugz. Would be the absolute best case scenario imo especially if they run off that boob Weinke.
Let Sark handle OC and QBs, let Tee handle coaching running backs and wrangling goons and give him some bullshite title like passing game coordinator and lets ride

A Tennessee coaching search is like the best roller coaster you’ve ever ridden until it shoots you off a mountain into a pit full of rattle snakes

Snakes. Why'd it have to be snakes?

There have been strong hints all day that something is going on with Chaney and Tee. Chaney's name has come up a lot lately and when it started I thought it was insane but apparently things have changed at UGA. Now Hyams dropped this which alludes to Chaney and Tee:

Chaney is a good OC (although a frustrating one when Dooley had him too pass happy but he's adapted wherever he's gone). It would be interesting to see what offense he'd run here this time around and it would also be good to have JG learn from someone who made Nate Peterman an NFL draft pick.
Tee would be a ginormous recruiting boom.

Somebody from VQ posted this a few minutes ago. **It was said they got this off a UGA board

I’m told Jim Chaney does have an offer to go to Tennessee. Whether or not he wants to take it is unknown. He has a buyout at Georgia that could factor into it. Plus, you have to wonder how hard Smart would fight to keep Chaney, considering that he will also have to fight to keep Dell McGee and Sam Pittman. Working for Kirby is tough, but it would get no easier working for Jeremy Pruitt. And the recruiting would get harder.

I think Chaney may want out. Smart asked him last year to relinquish QB duties in order to make Coley happy so that he wouldn't go to TAMU (at least I think it was TAMU). Chaney is one of the most easy going guys in CFB (everyone loved him here) but things may have gotten to the point where Smart simply can't hold onto both Coley and Chaney and Coley is the recruiter.
If we could pair Chaney and Tee it would be really good news for us.

Chaney and Tee both coming back to Knoxville would have me full mast... which is probably why it won't happen lol
