Anyone hearing anything about Sark being a possibility after the Falcons season is over?

As well as he’s doing with the Browns and not having coached college since 05 I just don’t see him coming back. Maybe him and Pruitt’s relationship is special I just don’t see him coming to Tennessee especially with the future being bright for the Browns.
I can’t believe I just said that

It's being reported by Go Pokes 247 that we've made an official offer to Yurcich. Usually that means it's already done (schools only make official offers after they're sure you'll take the job) but this is our beloved Tennessee so we shall see.
Also, according to Go Pokes, tOSU is making a late push. That all said, I have no clue whether or not their site has any clue as to what they're talking about (just passing along the info. about the supposed offer and hoping it's true).

But Go Pokes can now officially report that Mike Yurcich has been offered the Offensive Coordinator position at Tennessee and at a substantial bump in pay than what he’s currently making at Oklahoma State.

Adding on to that report Vols Wire has this:
If he wants to prove himself against legit defenses then I'd say advantage Tennessee despite his Ohio connections.
And on an interesting note because there's been some debate about how much control Pruitt wants over the offense:
I hope it works out as Yurcich's system would be an instant help to our OL.

Following the report, an Oklahoma State source that is in Memphis for the Liberty Bowl, discussed the latest developments regarding Yurcich with Vols Wire.
“It’s possible that he (Yurcich) stays,” the source told Vols Wire. “The thing that has sped things up on Tennessee’s end is Yurcich being from Ohio. He has been in connection with the Ohio State offensive coordinator job. Money is not necessarily a big motivating factor, but he feels kind of that he needs to prove himself a little more and maybe do it outside the Big 12. He wants to be a head coach in the MAC and wants that to be ideally the next step.
“He has been out for a couple of jobs and things just have not worked out. Money is certainly part of it, but a feeling also to go prove himself somewhere where they do not just say how bad the defenses are.”

The source also discussed Yurcich not highly entertaining previous possible coaching opportunities at Alabama and Auburn were due to not being able to run his full offense at those schools.
I hope it works out as Yurcich's system would be an instant help to our OL.

I like what Pruitt has done for the most part but if we fail at the OC hire it might mean another HC changes in 3 years.

If there was ever an AD who could make that point clear to him it's Fulmer. I think Pruitt knows he has to get this one right and I hope for all our sakes that he does. It's not fair the mess he was left with on O but we've been through too many coaching changes to have much patience or sympathy.
A rough road for Pruitt, to be sure.

These articles don’t make a lot of sense and I am not optimistic we land Yurcich but I’d love to have him

Eh Rucker is saying that they have no reason to back off their original reporting that it didn't work out. I have no idea why OK St. would be reporting an offer though. I'd rather have Yurcich than Sark though I think both would be fine. Who the hell knows? One thing I do know is that our side/media has been completely shut out of this coaching search.

You are definitely right On that last part

It's actually amazed me just how shut out they've been. Fulmer and Pruitt have both been like 'frick the media' when it comes to this search.

Guess we will know something one way or the other after the Mizzou/OSU game today.

Coaching changes board seems to be thinking he’s going to Ohio State.

As I said before, nothing about that recent article that was written added up to him being our OC
Honestly at this point I think it’s either gonna be Sark or there’s going to be lots of pissed off fans
Not bc the hire will be horrible but bc it won’t be a well known name everyone is clamoring for
