2011 to Auburn

That was an unbelievable loss. SC had no business losing that game.

Was a fun day in Columbia.

Fans were riding us bad at the tailgate. Which we had a blast at. Then after the game, it was like they closed down the school or something.

I never head so many "We are finally gonna beat Auburn. Y'all will lose today".

Didn't happen.

Fans were great there though. Enjoyed the trip

For me it was 2009 Kentucky. Chiz’s First year. We had looked good in beating West Virginia at home and had a 3 game stretch of Arkansas Ku and LSU. I was kind of expecting to lose to Arky and LSU ( which we did) I was baffled at how bad we looked on the road to a 7-6 Ky team . We went on to finish 8-5 I think, but I just remember it looked like we were going through the motions. It actually could have been worse. We were losing the line of scrimmage IMO

That was a cold damn night in Auburn. I froze my arse off. Randall Cobb was just better than us. Game could have went either way but I really dont see this as a baffling loss. Yes its Kentucky but we had not figured out how to play football again really

We had NO BUSINESS winning that game. And it honestly hurt us more than you could ever imagine.

Hurt Stephen Garcia even worse ... it was his last game as a Gamecock. Connor Shaw took over the next week and never lost another home game.

So many times we were so close ... and then there was always that one game. The three mentioned already really stand out to me as well.

You’re right. It was actually a home game for us. I guess I had forgotten that. That one still bums me out..

4th and 25 against Arky cost Ole Miss their first trip to Atlanta and an SEC championship. Brutal. That and the Memphis game together cost Ole Miss a playoff spot.

The 1984 Iron Bowl is one us old folks still shake our heads over.

Another is 1979 Wake Forest. AU up 38-20 at the half, lost 42-38. 3 TOs in the red zone in 2nd half.

Losing to Clemson and Dabo. They did all their illegal picks etc but alumni or not it’s embarrassing to lose to a gomer like Dabo.

Says a redneck Alabama sidewalk fan.

By illegal pick, you mean good play your defense wasn't prepared for.

Okay, Tillman. The very fact you’re here demonstrates your acute penis envy.

They were illegal, this has already been established.

Take some Midol for your cramps.

Says a sore loser redneck.

4 WRs for Clemson had 90 plus yards in that game. Bama was only it it b/c of 2-0 turnover margin.

was Clemson running pick plays every time to get all those yards...lol

it seems to to me most plays in football are about 'picking' defenders. it is about trying to spring people open.

ok

you don't seem alright....you seem angry.

you didn't even attend Alabama so don't know why you would be embarrassed. I think most people think Watson and our WRs were better than Alabama's. lol

I remember the Wake Forest game. They had a guy named Baumgardner and he was killing us... wasn’t Bill Dooley the coach? Anyway that was certainly a low point.. I was in high school. We had Alabama/ Auburn olympics and we didn’t have enough Auburn fans to fill the rosters. I don’t believe that game was televised so I listened on the radio.. dark days indeed. The next season brought the 42-0 Tennessee game and Dye was brought in in 81. I remember to the winning field goal thinking We can’t even beat Wake Forest

So you admit you are a redneck and a sore loser?

Accepting reality is good on your role to healing

More baffled how a supposed good ACC team can have so. many losses in football to a bad football team like Kentucky. Good think UK is not in the ACC or Taters would have much lower averages by now.

Losing to Kentucky

You don't lose to Kentucky in football, it becomes a sour point in your program. You know you hit rock bottom when you lose to them.
