hopefully those of you who come to BR for a game will see this and let your schools know you want something similar (and more). The SEC is now the only P5 conference where full alcohol sales are still banned.

The Chute will be open to any fan 21-years of age or older with a game ticket. Located on the ground level of the south side of Tiger Stadium, The Chute will give fans the opportunity to purchase beer and food while watching the game and highlights on a giant-screen HD video board and numerous HD televisions.

Due to Southeastern Conference regulations, all beer must be consumed in The Chute.

Tennessee fans will have no problems complying with this rule.

You pay $15.00 for a beer at tiger stadium and I’ll pay $17.50 for a 30 of nattie light and watch the game at Herman Frisco Memorial double wide.
Plus you got to drive home drunk and broke. Only thing I’ll drive drunk is my wife. Who may beat the shite out of me if I pass out.
Take the over.

It's such a stupid policy that lead to binge drinking before people get into the stadium.

Meh, there were enough liability reasons to justify it at the time, now that the SEC and schools are floating in money it may be time to revisit.
