Not as bad as I thought!!!
Bring back Colonel Reb. Nothing offensive!!! I can see how Dixie With Love (thanks to the students) is offensive but not a mascot. In fact, I believe it should’ve been the other way around. Ban Dixie in 2003 and ban The Colonel in 2009. This is LAME. End of story.

When I first saw it I rolled my eyes but now that I’ve seen the “official” landshark gear it’s hideous. Someone pour lighter fluid over my eye balls.

I would rather we didn't have a mascot at all if the bear and this is the best we can do. The bear was terrible but this is somehow worse

No matter what the costume would have been most were already prepared to shite on it. Either they just don’t like the Landshark thing in general, they don’t like Matt Luke or they just haven’t gotten over the whole Freeze thing. It’s like a disorder of some sort.

Some people felt much the same about the DSU okra man when it first came out years ago. Now it’s one of the cooler mascots going. LINK
