And your long statement of facts isn’t correct either starting with Rogers. Being an ex player makes him a booster

Nope. Being a former player does NOT automatically make you a booster. The NCAA specifically held that Rogers was NOT a booster in the Newton Case. From the NCAA website (these same definitions were in effect in 2009):

"Boosters, referred to by the NCAA as “representatives of the institution’s athletic interests,” include anyone who has:

Provided a donation in order to obtain season tickets for any sport at the university.

Participated in or has been a member of an organization promoting the university’s athletics programs.
(Note by me....this means a booster club, not a sports team)

Made financial contributions to the athletic department or to a university booster organization.

Arranged for or provided employment for enrolled student-athletes.

Assisted or has been requested by university staff to assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes.

Assisted in providing benefits to enrolled student athletes or their families.

Been involved otherwise in promoting university athletics."

It’s funny you continue to act like what you say is fact. A player is a booster. In all the simplified school versions they specifically state explayers are boosters

Also, Let’s go back to the last statement state reported in feb and two months later provided the info. So are you sticking to that as well?

quote:

Mississippi State said Wednesday it forwarded its recruiting information on Cam Newton to the SEC Office in January, but said it waited at least six months before fulfilling a request from the league office for more information.

So you are saying that your info is contradictory to known facts....

Your facts
quote:

Some serious misinformation. State did continue to recruit Newton, knowing that if they signed him they would have to declare him ineligible and report the incident. When he signed with Auburn, State waited two months before deciding they should report it to the SEC. The SEC asked for more info, and State took another two months to provide that to the SEC office, because reporting info on a student athlete at another school is not a high priority. State's reporting to the SEC was completed in May, 2010.
