They didn't notify anybody. They continued to recruit Cam. Cam signed with Auburn in Dec.. State went to the SEC office in Febr..

They weren't required to report it immediately. It wasn't even clear a violation had occurred, since all he did was ask for money. State was fine in waiting until recruiting was over to report it.
