We definitely lost some good players, but we're upgrading overall talent. For reference here is who we return from last year's SEC Champs. The starting:

Offense
QB
LT (RT last year sliding to left, still a starting T)
LG
C
RG
WR (x3)
TE

Defense
DL (x2)
ILB
CB
S

Special Teams
K
KR
PR

The biggest lost that is basically irreplaceable is Roquan, and that hurts. The 2 OLB we lost have talented guys behind them that all saw action last year. Our starting S that graduated is replaced by a 5* top safety 2 years ago that played plenty last year. Same for DL, CB, RB...we're losing talented guys but have talented guys coming in. Sure chubb and sony took a ton of stats with but we've all seen Swift is capable and his backup will be the #1 RB in america in the last class.

Color me not worried about all the losses.

For sure. Tough to be “worried” with the infusion of talent coming into Athens.

RB production is replaceable, period. Roquan, however, would be a major loss for any team because of how damn good he was. I don’t know if UGA will be as good as they were last year but I’m not sure that changes where they’re heading. I think they can take a step back and still crush their schedule

While I agree that there will be a short term dropoff, didn't you replace him with the best LB in the country?

As a Bama fan, I'd gladly swap positions with you in terms of replacing defensive players. UGA is legitimately in a better position than any school in the country this year for returning/replacing talent.
