Louisiana Tech will be coming off of a bye week - a nice weeks rest from preseason practice and the first two opening games.

Bye weeks are advantageous when they come early in the season. Waiting until week 5 or 6 is too long.

Bulldogs gonna be fresh.

Louisiana Tech has 3/4 of their starters back, equally veteran on both offense and defense.

The nation is very happy. Another great inner state rivalry has been revived.

LSU has been scared to play them.

Perhaps they can move it to Thanksgiving Day.
I can picture the whole family gathered around their TV's watching this great classic.

Yeah, I agree with you. LSU is probably shitting their pants as we speak while looking at the schedule. The mighty Bulldogs will give all LSU they can handle in a 42-7 blowout.

Well, Miss State put 57 points on La Tech last year so I doubt LSU is scared. LSU offense remains to be seen but they will have a far better defense than La Tech regardless who they return. The only way I can see La Tech winning is if Lsu offense is just horrible.

Does the winner of the Tech-LSU game get to play the University of Louisiana for the state championship?

Asking for a friend.
