Football message boards are not only entertaining they are a snapshot into the culture of the fanbases that are represented. It validates my opinion of Bama fans more than any other method today. Growing up in Alabama, I witnessed their behavior and thought it was only a handful of the people I associated with. Message boards just confirmed what I though was just isolated behavior. This board is a great way to compare Bama Fans to the rest of the Southeast.

I do not place the value of my life on the shoulders of what 18-22 year old boys do on the football field 13-15 times a year. Even after AU won the NC in 2010, I didn't buy any merchandise commemorating their achievements. I still do not own any clothing advertising any college. I bet most bammers on here can not say the same.

Seriously, you are one obsessed and weird dude. Sure there are a lot of Bama fans (and fans (fanatics) of many college and professional teams) that are a little too invested in outcomes of sporting events. But as obsessed as they are about their teams, you are equally obsessed by your hate of another fan base. You should ask yourself which is worse - and try to be honest with yourself for once. Virtually every time I see one of your posts it is about Alabama and your need to tout some kind of perceived moral superiority of your fandom versus theirs. It's just weird.
