In your estimation, good defense as a barometer for future success resembles WHAT? Wins and losses only tell you so much about how they're playing.

Tim Tebow was a better running back than Darren McFadden because he scored more rushing TDs. Herp derp.

I get it. So I we're just supposed to be happy with being pretty good. And if you want more, you have no life.

Simple. As. frick.

I guess we could start cheating like the schools you're comparing us to. Would that make you feel better?

I'm not comparing us to anyone. I'm suggesting, for the hundredth time, that we could be a better team with an occasional adjustment that takes pressure off of the defense.

Reading is hard.

Maybe we could start playing defense like Georgia. Look how far that got them.

To each their own I guess.

But in my opinion, demanding a once in a generation coach again, in a completely different NCAA basketball landscape is just purely delusional.

Crying and whining isn't going to change the fact that our program is in a POS, bottom 5 state with a limited talent pool to pull from.

Yes, he clearly makes no adjustments.

Certainly didn't against UF.

The team has to execute. It's a low basketball IQ team, we've known that. Or at least some of us have.

Or maybe we could just utilize our own players and put them in a better position to succeed...not being zero sum in the process. It's not an either/or proposition.

Is MA perfect? Is there NOTHING he could improve upon?

I'm pretty sure that since the second LSU loss, the defense has been good on average.

Zero sum AGAIN. Lack of reading comprehension AGAIN. I have STILL not suggested that we fire MA. Never. I am suggesting that he's not fricking perfect and we would have a better chance of winning against tough opponents, in tough circumstances, if he changed some of his defensive strategy slightly.

Debate isn't crying or whining.

Mike has gotten plenty of criticism. Waiting until we lose to a top 15 team on no rest after winning 8 of the last 10 and then demanding change is pretty stupid though. That seems to be all you ever do. Arkansas could lose the national championship by 1 point on a full court buzzer beater and you would be in here whining about Mike and pretending you're a better coach.

From you? When? What would you like to see him improve upon?

This is the first time I've said these things? How am I waiting on anything when it's been my biggest, constant criticism the times I choose to take a chance on being called names for having a dissenting opinion? Because it's inevitable. Criticize MA? You're miserable. You have a mental illness. You're a racist.

That is your tried and true standard response. Every time.

I have praised MA and his teams WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more than you've criticized ANYTHING. Who is being more impartial?

Confirm your bias all you want. It doesn't make it true. Resting on our laurels is not the path to a championship. If you don't want a championship, just say so.

Can I get some lotto numbers? How many times have I posted about basketball this season?

I would be ecstatic if we got to the NC. I would be disappointed if we lost. But to get to the NC would be a huge, program-changing achievement that I would be thrilled to see.

You don't know me.

Deflect, deflect, deflect.

"Rage." Bwahaha. Typical. Exactly what I've come to expect. Can't answer a simple question. I take on every one of your points.

I criticize Mike all the time. Cook should have been kicked off the team months ago, and I don't agree with his formulaic approach to substitutions. These kids are in good shape, and I wish our best players were getting 35 minutes a game instead of 30.

The difference is I don't expect to win every game the way you apparently do. You're willfully disregarding all other factors affecting the loss to Tennessee and refusing to acknowledge that our players were on no rest and playing their third game in three days against a top 15 team. You honestly think fatigue doesn't affect defense?

Any time we lose you come out of hiding to say "I told you so" regardless of how the team has performed even one day prior. That's probably why multiple people are calling you miserable. Most fans are celebrating a good season and making plans to watch selection Sunday, but you're still screaming at the sky a day later and infecting other unrelated threads like If ONLY Mike would SHRINK the DEFENSE we could have BEAT TenneSSEE! WHY won't Mike LISTEN TO ME?!?!

Well I apologize. I have never seen that, but I'm not on here very often. Somehow having a miserable life I have much less time to post than some over comparable times.

How would you feel if, when you do post your criticisms, someone insulted you for it instead of just addressing your concern? I don't expect a genuine answer. Name-calling? Sure.

ocelot: "Things happen on a spectrum, this isn't black and white, it's not a zero sum game."

Also ocelot: "The way we played defense against Tennessee on March 10, 2018 proves I've been right about everything."

ocelot: "The defense playing well against Florida is unremarkable. They should always play well in every game regardless of circumstance."

Also ocelot: "Losing to Tennessee proves Mike Anderson is stupid."

Yeah it's crazy how Arkansas fans cheer for Arkansas on an Arkansas message board.
