So autigers07 owned up to the Ross miss yesterday. Said Ross & mom gave misleading, positive info to the staff yesterday morning. Even though I didn't post it yesterday I had concerns of misinformation being put out there to create drama. It didn't make sense to not having any momentum the past 7 months to winning the battle on NSD.

Also another source I respect says Ross silently committed to both AU & Clemson before going public w/ Clemson. Silent commits is the part of recruiting that bugs me the most. If the above is true that's at least 3 silents we lost in this past class. Fields, Andres Fox, & Ross.

Andres Fox I understand. The silent was before getting the Stanford offer iirc. Can't fault a guy for going to Stanford for the education. On the other hand Fields and Ross......

Coaches should understand that silent commitments mean nothing. Heck, public commitments don't mean anything.

Only thing I know that is 100% fact is that his mom preferred he be at Auburn. Justyn preferred Clemson all along. His grandma just wanted him close to home.

In the end it appears that they let him make his own decision. Good parenting, IMO.
