Wrong. College football is amateur athletics and always has been.
NFL football is professional football and always has been.

Making money is thanks to the TV contracts won for the universities after the OU, UGA lawsuit. It isnt the product. It is a byproduct of our times.

You are arguing that it is an amateur sport, but then you show all the stipends that the athletes receive ? We can agree that the athletes are receiving pay that no other average student receives and by calling it a stipend doesn't change that it is a salary. What we are arguing about is that pay structure is totally beneficial toward the schools and short change the athletes. Not quit child labor, but the cost/revenue ratio might trend that way.
