Stop. Now. A whole lot of things would have to go right for us to even think about the playoffs next year. This is not the ACC, where Clemson can simply field a very good team and dominate.

who? Going into the 2017 season I'm not sure anyone was really pointing to 2018 as "the year"

Sure we expected to have a Junior Eason and an excellent OL (we will still have an excellent OL and QB play), but anyone could look at the roster and see what we'd have to overcome.

and it's really tough when you lose 9 guys from a team to the first 72 picks in the NFL draft followed by losing basically an entire position group to injuries.

You’re right about that, I was speaking more to the bama game in the sec championship. Of course we couldn’t do anything on offense or defense and Dunlap decided to pass out in his car drunk the night before or whatever

No way. We don't lose as much as many thing. (Or we do, but have a lot of talent to step in) but we lose enough we cannot make the playoffs.

Roquan is gone. He would be foolish to come back.

Doubtful. UGA will be good but 2019 looks like a better possibility for UGA.

The yearly tradition of bold guarantees from UGA fans has started, just a little early. Michel and Chubb was only one of the best RB tandems of all time but 2 senior RBs like them will easily be replaced right? Every RB on that roster is completely unproven carrying a full load over a full season, or were playing in high school last year. Replacing a Butkus award winner is easy too, probably better he is gone so someone better can play right? I would take the wait and see approach
