Of a team that got handled by a team that we beat? Not quite.

So you're saying you would be scared of Clemson playing LSU then?

The number one seed is in because we smacked Louisville, VT, Miami and FSU around. Beat Auburn, NC State, and won a conference championship. Again.

But you can lose to a team that lost to the team that lost to Troy?

Good idea. Put a 3 loss team over a 1 loss team. Solid logic.

OP is right. Look at the schedules and they show just how unbalanced any one team in the country is compared to AU schedule. The commitee said the "best 4 teams in America" so how do we determine that? We look at who they played and who they beat. These are the teams in America that proved they could beat elite teams.

1. Clemson- beat AU
2. OU- beat Ohio State
3. UGA- beat AU
4. AU- beat Bama, UGA
5. Ohio State- beat Penn St, Did
6. Wisconsin- beat nobody
7. Bama- beat no elite team

IF we are comparing AU to Bama then I know for sure AU can beat any team in the country. All I know is Bama has a solid team that got beat by two TDs by AU and was lucky AU fumbled at the 4 yard line or it's a 20 point loss. People are too hung up on the number of losses when they aren't looking at just how epically bad Bama's schedule was. Not saying AU deserves a spot but that isn't the criteria per Holcut. I think the wins and the way they won, winning division, played #1 team on the road looks so much better than bearing one decent team and getting crushed by the one elite team you play. The bye week that Bama got should not have eliminated them but it really should be looked at almost like a loss.

Auburn won because big brother felt sorry for little brother and wanted to give you the chance to win a NC.
But what do you do. You shite the bed and UGA stump frick you and
you squealed like a piggy.

Now go and sit in the corner with GusBus and help him count all the money he stole from your president.

Bama will show you how to win this NC.

What is it with LSU fans that are dumber than dirt?

Why don't you ask Gus Malzahn why he ranked Alabama #3?

If you had more brain cells than the cucumber in my fridge, you'd understand.

You beat Bama and UGA at JHS. Lost to UGA on neutral field. Lost to LSU to boot.

Auburn's pretty good, not great. Not as good as Bama and UGA.

Let it go.

In fairness bama was injured, like Auburn in the championship game.

Great teams don't lose more than 1 game, great teams don't lose to teams with losing records, great teams don't lose by 3 scores...I guess that tells us bama vs okie for the title.

I don't think either team lost their starting QB in game 1 and had to plug in a true freshman to carry the load.

In fairness neither team had a 10 week streak of cupcakes to get him up to snuff before he wet the bed in Jordan-Hare.

They had 3 losses dude. 3

You can't do all this head to head, top 20 games bullshite. You'd eventually get down to Kentucky in the playoff.

1 is less than 3. If a person isn't functionally retarded, they generally grasp that concept by the time they learn to count to 3.
