And how was he directly behind the nutt/wbasketball deal? He wasn't the first to break it, he just reported after several others did what his OM sources told him. Do you really think he doesn't feel embarrassed by that? He didn't grow up an OM fan. He doesn't cover OM. Do you think he would ever use those same sources again for a story?
You are grasping at straws trying to make your opinion make sense. You cant make any sense that Chuck would have this story if this was being fed by OM. That chuck wouldn't have written this story first if it didn't hurt OM. And if it does hurt OM and Godfrey and Neal are carrying their water, why would they release it?

You have a player.. and possibly players.. retaining legal representation because they were lied to about the possible severity of the sanctions. The ole miss coaches and staff lied to these players to save a recruiting class. They lied to their own players folks.
They put out press releases that were lies. Absolute known lies.
They looked in the eyes of sports journalists on the air and lied right to their faces on live TV.
Radio personalities have said that they got calls right from the football staff that were absolute lies. They went on the air with their information and embarrassed themselves when the truth came out.
And some of you are STILL falling for their garbage? You are falling for this trash that was obviously purposely held for the day before the sanctions are announced? You are going to believe that Mississippi State has free reign to cheat in the eyes of the NCAA and no one else does?
I know now why tabloid publishers are rich. There is a shat load of absolute gullible people out there that absolutely refuses to admit and learn they get scammed time and time again.

Same coaching staff. And it has to do with a trend. You don't believe Godfrey's story because you don't believe a kid who chose to go to state didn't take money to go to state but took money from OM to not go to OM, when state has already been caught buying players. What in his article do you think he is just making up? Do you really believe State didn't pay him?
