You have finally got what you want, a thread about something Scar is known for, a whole thread about women's basketball, and you are talking about fricking goats. Go figure

I can't imagine they did nothing

Here's what I don't get. You make fun of us for being good in women's basketball, but you talk about it just as much as we do because you're in EVERY thread ever about women's basketball.

It's kind of funny.

What is this referring to?

Also ... just for the record ... I was very happy for and proud of the Lady Gamecocks.

I thought it was a great win for the State of South Carolina.

You send an invite to the national champions. Its basic protocol. End of story.
Except when it becomes national headlines when athletes start making a big deal out of turning invitations down. The few screw it up for the many.

I was there in the arena when TAMU beat ND for the championship and Mr Pringle and your fellow TAMU alumni would strongly disagree with you.

We also won a quiddich national championship.

Nope, he's made it clear if you come out and say this you won't be invited. Steph Curry did the same thing and he pulled the invite. Don't come out and publicly state that if you want to go. No need in throwing out a needless invite if your going to use it in the disgusting manner other teams have used to make your stance vs the president.

No, i think it would put you with 99% of the American population who also didn't watch a single minute of women's basketball

Tillman, I know the Taters can't do much right in non football sports and have gone back to Clempsoning with the Syracuse game but a little tidbit.

Roughly 1,000,000 folks went through the turnstiles for home game in the SEC and roughly another 1,000,000 went through the turnstiles for home games in the B1G. Total for W basketball in the NCAA was over 11,000,000 for 2017 which is why it is the #3 sport behind football and M basketball and also gets so much TV coverage.

Add in grade school, high school, non NCAA sanctioned college ball, AAU basketball, club basketball, and other W basketball like the WNBA and overseas pro teams and it seems your numbers are exaggerated. Course I would expect this from a Tater who thinks their view of the world actually represents the world.

Yet here you are posting on a SEC board about a sport you claim to not care about. Pretty funny stuff right there!

Just for the record

1 NCAA W basketball championship for South Carolina
0 NCAA W basketball championship for Clemson

196,413 = Cocks WBB attendance in 2017
8,544 = Taters WBB attendance in 2017

I know 3rd grade math is hard for you so I will help you here

Williams Brice listed capacity = 80,250
Memorial (Clemson) listed capacity = 81,500

Cocks fans could fill Williams Brice almost 2.5 times with WBB fans
Tater fans could put roughly 10% of capacity in Memorial with WBB fans

While you keep professing not to care your continual posting on here is proof the exact opposite is true. I feel sure when the Taters win a Natty in WBB you will be on here crowing about it.

This is exactly why ....The coach comes out and says we are unsure whether we would take the invite. Problem solved...you won't get one.

Internet message board superathlete right here folks.

My HS basketball coach was the dad of an All-American on Baylor's 2005 WBB national title team. She would come play pickup with us at open gym during the summer breaks.

Keep in mind this was one of the best women's basketball players on the planet who averaged a double/double for three years on a national title caliber team...she could barely get a shot off against an average group of boys HS varsity players. She look like an uncoordinated 10 year old in comparison who had no business being out there. It was awkward and embarrassing for everyone.

Women are just not gifted with the athletic tools necessary to be good basketball players, at least not using the same rules and rim height as men. Basketball is a niche sport athletically speaking.

FWIW ... sorry it didn't work out.

Not all Clemson fans are bad people ... though, some surely are.

Its funny how a Kentucky fan sees a basketball thread and immediately self appoints them self to the arbiter of social tolerance because its the only sport they've ever had any success in.

They have NC's in Rifle and Running as well

They also have a pretty well rounded sports program, especially when you consider how small the state population is and they are not a perennial football power:

University of Kentucky sports 2016 - 2017

Softball = lost to Oregon in Super Regional
Baseball = lost to Louisville in Super Regional
Football = lost bowl game to Georgia Tech
Cheerleading = won 22nd National Championship in 2017
M Basketball = lost to UNC in Elite Eight
W Basketball = lost to Ohio State in 2nd round of NCAA
M Soccer = Cocks got CUSA slot in NCAA, not Cats
W Soccer = did not make NCAA cut
M Cross Country = did not make final NCAA cut
W Cross Country = did not make final NCAA cut
M Indoor Track & Field = #22 in NCAA's
W Indoor Track & Field = #6 in NCAA's
M Outdoor Track & Field = #59 in NCAA's
W Outdoor Track & Field = #4 in NCAA's
M Golf = did not make NCAA cut
W Golf = did not make NCAA cut
M Tennis = lost in 2nd round of NCAA's
W Tennis = lost in 2nd round of NCAA's
M Swimming & Diving = finished #37 in NCAA's
W Swimming & Diving = finished #6 in NCAA's
Gymnastics= NCAA Regional, lost to eventual champion Oklahoma
Volleyball = lost in 2nd round of NCAA tourney
Rifle = NCAA Final Four
