So if information from the news is even accurate it seems UF invited a white supremacy speaker to speak....if true of all times this is pure retarded. Because of this protest have broke out. Wonder if this is distracting for their players. Anyone have any more info on this?

frick that Spencer edgelord, but I'm glad we live in a country where even the most detested speech is protected.

IMO, it'd be pretty ironic to ban a public speaking event because he's a fascist.

I'm not gonna defend Florida but I believe they would have risked being sued had they not agreed.

The question becomes, which authority gets to decide which speakers are appropriate. Should we ban all political speech on college campuses? That's always the question about speech, who is the arbiter of what is fair and what isn't, who's a racist and who isn't,etc. Unless you're willing to cede that authority to someone with whom you disagree, then it's best to not argue for a ban on those with whom you disagree.
