This is not a good place for a serious question.

If OM has a good play and makes the landshark sign it is ok, since that supposedly is their new tradition.

IF LSU makes the landshark sign after sacking the OM QB, is that considered taunting and a 10 yard penalty?

Insert any school you might choose for LSU. I just used them because I know how to spell LSU phonetically.

What does the Rant think?

The correct response after a sack of the ole miss QB is "Candygram."

It's kind of like doing the gator chomp. Definitely taunting if anyone other than Florida does it.

If Florida does it, it depends on the context. Basically, are they celebrating with the team or not?

Answer: only if they do it classy. Serving walmart chicken fingers and tater salad in a tent under a chandelier.

Similar to the horns down. It’s mocking the original team when someone else does it.

Ban all the prima donna bullshite celebrations until after the game and play football.

Taking away touchdowns and replaying with loss of down and -15yds would fix it.

Mississippi State flashed the landshark sign so much in the egg bowl last year that they could claim it as their own. Not that they'd want to, of course. But for the next decade, everyone they play will be doing it more than they do.

It would be considered taunting (but shouldn't draw a flag) if another team did it. Keep in mind where the Landshark sign came from - Iraq War Veteran Tony Fein that played for Ole Miss. The Landshark sign was something his unit did, and he brought that to Ole Miss. Fein died not long after being cut from the Ravens.
