Shotgun, uptempo offense and this team is decent

I keep saying it. An RPO offense with Cole Kelly would be great. Oline still sucks, but RPO threat would take pressure off line.

Exactly. We've got to transition to the spread, and we actually have the talent and recruiting footprint to compete with it.

If we bring in a decent spread coach, we could make some noise next year. We'll have some good pieces in Kelley, Whaley, Hayden, Nance, Martin, Jones, and the TEs. We also get most of the OL back, so it's not a complete rebuild on the line (insert joke about how they suck).

Add in newcomers who are either sitting or shirting like Hammonds (provided he doesn't transfer), Barkley, Jackson, Warren, and Maleek Williams and that's a good nucleus of young skill talent to run an up tempo, RPO and/or spread to pass offense.
