It’s why he needs to go.
2013, 2014, and 2017 were/are very, very good football teams. Hell, even 2016 was a good football team.
None of those teams save 2013 (which relied on some very favorable bounces) have been able to compete with other good football teams. We destroy lesser competition and when big boy football approaches, we lose and often in an embarrassing fashion.
In a way, it’s almost opposite of the Tuberville years. Just consider 2005 and 2007 when we had very rough starts to the season with bad losses to lesser teams. But then went to Athens or the Swamp to win a big rivalry game. Now we tend to win the ones we should but look like a bad middle school team of babies when the competition steps up.

This game should have been 35-7 at half today. Stidham entered the game as the best statistical passer in the SEC and he go neutered by Gus Malzhan running the gotdamn wildcat in the redzone.
