We're not atrocious but being this one-dimesnsional is really concerning - especially when we see what a team like Texas A&M can do to us. They came within striking distance late because our offense completely sputtered in the second half after Chavis adjusted.

I'm not jumping for joy over the offensive performance last night but I think that we scored to start the 2nd half, got a stop and kind of mentally went on cruise control. It sort of almost cost us (but not really), and we never really got back in a sync.

It just seems silly to me to totally jump into the deep end of negativity because maybe we won't be able to move the ball as well against good defenses later in the year. I mean, maybe we won't, but maybe they won't either (actually, I think they probably won't). We might have to win ugly. We might lose ugly. Who knows. Doesn't make much sense to freak out about it until it actually happens. All of the teams in the Top 10 have flaws that we (Alabama) can exploit. We also have some flaws. It will be an exciting finish to the season.

Robert Fosters fumble really threw a funk into everything. I thought Alabama was going to nail the game shut that drive.

Honestly I wouldn't be bitching about all of this (it's not my style) if I didn't see a world-beater in Tua sitting on the bench. I more or less had your attitude last season - Jalen's the best we've got so just roll with it. I guess my main issue is personnel decisions which I've had many many disagreements with Saban on.

For example, I pointed out we needed a better PR. Well now we have one because Diggs got hurt, but he'd still be out there if it were up to Saban.
Saban is the GOAT, but he makes really conservative choices on the depth chart and is many times soft about benching a "good team guy" if he thinks we can win without doing it.
