yea, it sucked and hurt for a long time. but we won it all in 2010 so that helps

I'll never forgive Dave Steckel for that game.
We legitimately had a team that could win a NC that year. Those don't come around often as a Mizzou fan. Look at us now. I'll probably never get over that.

I really wonder what a Mizzou-FSU game wouldve looked like that year? Yall had better WRs then we did and might have been able to do some stuff down the field. I mean Nick Marshall missed at least 1 Wide Open TD i remember

I'm not saying we definitely would have won, but we would have had an excellent chance to.

Nick Marshall was a wizard that year. I love how he missed wide opened receivers for the majority of the year and most people were like "can't wait to get Jeremy Johnson and be able to open up the passing game". How I long for those days.

That season everything went right for us until the second half of the championship, then everything came crashing down. I'd like to forget that game and erase it out of my memory.

Steckel decided to go with some experimental 3-4 defense instead of what they'd been doing all year. Result: Auburn 9999999 yards rushing.

Auburn gained most of their yards on us when we ran the 4-3 defense. It didn't matter what front we gave them, we still got gashed

Well, AU did that to most everyone that year. Think they had 300 yds rushing against Bama.
