Kentucky, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt are all undefeated at 3-0 for the first time in over a century.
It has been 106 years, to be precise. The last time that particular trio of teams was unbeaten three weeks into the season was 1906.

That was the year Peej predicted them to start 0-3.

They'll all be 3-1 after this weekend.

Hopefully Carolina_Girl will swing by to tell us her thoughts that day.

Huh?

Fun Fact: Vanderbilt beat Alabama 78-0 in Nashville that year. Time for more history to repeat itself.

I hear tell of this new fangled thing called the forward pass. Just a bunch of mularkey if you ask me.

Were they running the T Formation or the Single Wing?

1906 is the year the forward pass was legalized, first downs were changed to 10 yards instead of 5, and the deadly flying wedge was outlawed.

Fun fact 2: That game is the most lopsided loss in Bama football history and the most points ever given up by a Bama team.
It was also Bama's only loss in the 1906 season.

And we were just about to make a comeback late in the 4th, until a dropped pass.

Yeah, that is never a good thing.
One of the most prominent causes of the Panic of 1907 was the lack of regulations over trust companies, corporations that served as trustees for the financial assets of estates, individuals and businesses. Their freedom to trade in riskier ventures with extremely low reserves made the trust companies ticking time bombs.
Vanderbilt circa 1906
Vanderbilt a little over 100 years later

BRB, gotta find a top-hat and some spats for the game this week-end
Maybe a monocle. Would a monocle be too much?

Two State fans the only ones who seemed to catch that. Not only do we have the best football program in the conference, we're obviously on top academically.

The days and years were calculated differently thus the mathematical conundrum.
