Defense = the reason the game was close
Head Coach = at least some credit for defensive performance
Both of the things above we have established as true. So how exactly is it a reach? I'm not saying to sing his praises from the rooftops. I'm saying you can't completely disregard it.
I'm just going to assume you missed the "in part".
