I don't know anything about coaching, but why doesn't Austin ever run in a bad situation? Most of the time if he were to step forward he'd have nice gaps to get yards. I can understand his "pro qb" style, but if he's going to take beatings (in the pocket), why hasn't he made a quick read and then taken off?

He did a couple times but you can tell he doesn't know how to take a hit. He gets nailed reallybbaf every time he doesn't go out of bounds

That's probably the biggest thing we miss about Brandon. He had great pocket awareness, and he was also quick to take off and run if he saw an opening. He was quietly a very good scrambler when he was here.
