Also see if Dan Mullen would leave miss state. He's probably gonna be 3-1 against bert after this year
He's already 3-1 against Bert.

I love Leach and would take him as well, but one must understand that he would also have "wtf" losses to seemingly inferior opponents and have Petrinoesque recruiting (not that that is so much of a bad thing if you can develop them). However, under Leach, our team would be mentally tough and would win a lot of games even against teams they shouldn't beat. We wouldn't have to worry about consistent underperformance. He would take every game seriously which would be a refreshing change, and he wouldn't fart rainbows about teams that will be lucky to play an exhibition game in December.

When has a spread HUNH O won a title in the SEC?
Posted on 9/9/17 at 7:03 pm to Arkansasrazorback
i don't wanna go to a spread.
i think berts style could work here.l shite it has worked here forever. i just dono't think bert is the man that can do that
we aren't tough. at all. we aren't physically touugh. we aren't mentally tough.
my hire would be derek mason. i love dude. i love what they try to do and i love his intensity.

Yep.
We were extraordinarily mentally tough under Petrino.
We were very physically tough in the first few years of Bielema, but we've been soft as baby shite the last two years.

I agree on the point that Bert's "style" can win. The problem is that we're not that type of team. We're a soft, weak team and it annoys me when announcers discuss Arkansas as if they are a team built on physicality. We're not! Essentially, I'm alright with a basketball on grass "style" or a tough, out physical the opponent "style." As long as the team's "style" is actually their identity in their games and it wins.

the most damning thing and i think why i 'm done with bert is because with the exepction of austin allen, which even he was technically recruited by bert, but not really every last player today that played, was a bert recruit. and this team is bad. really really fricking bad.
i mean even in 2013 we had 2 1 thousand yard rushers.

After mulling a bit on it this afternoon, I'm of the opinion that Bert leaves after this year on his own accord.
I think he's probably come to the conclusion - if he hadn't already - that it's not going to work out for him here. His heart belongs in the Big Ten, and deep down he has to know that he's not cut out to coach in the SEC.
If a Big Ten job comes open, he's gone, God willing. It would be the best for both parties.

People like to complain about Petrino recruiting, but the further we get away from it, the softer and shittier we seem to get

It all depends on how Bert's ego feels about getting fired. It will be damn hard to forfeit that buyout.

Dunno. But I do know I was sitting there at the game getting more pissed off at Petrino every second our offense kept looking like a giant inept piece of shite.
