To the tune of 600 yards.
I don't think you understand what I said. We took the triple option away but never adjusted once Tech started running the double option, veer and wing t concepts. We left the dive open all night long by our alignment.
I think the reasoning was - protect players and give up some yards but avoid big plays. It was prevent injury defense and I don't agree with it.
Thankfully, that strategy and alignment won't be happen again. We won't align a yard off against other teams.

Whats worse? Making fun of the trash can or being a fan of the team who has idolized the trash can?

That's a stupid adjustment to make. Does Tennessee's DL coach not teach how to defeat cut blocks?
Actually it worked quite well when they ran the triple option. It didn't work when Tech went to the veer, double-option and wing t. That's on Shoop not the DL coach.

If your jokes were any good at least they'd be entertaining but they aren't creative or funny no many how many times you post them

I seriously don't get it. At Vandy, Shoop's only issue was with mobile QBs. I'm not enough of a homer to think Vandy had better defensive individual talent then than Tennessee does now. Shoop's defense never seemed to call for superstars either, so I am genuinely confused at what the issue is. I cannot believe that the defense will be nearly as bad as last year if UT can avoid another massive injury list. The ONLY thing he had at Vandy that MIGHT be lacking at UT were legitimate NFL corners. He had Hayward in 2011 then Andre Hal for all 3 years. Other CBs have had pro careers in Canada or spent some time on NFL practice squads. I'm not sure what the CB situation at UT is like, but that's the only difference that I can think of.
