They would lose 2-3 games a season on average.

It's the multiple physical games in a row that would do them in.

Let's compare Clemson's conference schedule to A&M's conference schedule as an example:

Clemson (with A&M's schedule)

Arkansas - Tossup
South Carolina - Win
Alabama - Loss
at Florida - Tossup
Mississippi State - Win
Auburn - Tossup
at Ole Miss - Win
at LSU - Loss

A&M (with Clemson's schedule)

at Louisville - Loss
vs. Boston College - Win
at Virginia Tech - Win
vs. Wake Forest - Win
at Syracuse - Win
vs. Georgia Tech - Win
at N.C. State - Win
vs. Florida State - Loss

We'd continue to point and laugh at the redneck, insecure hillbillies from Pickens. And we'd point and laugh at y'all for thinking you could take Bama "out of the equation".

In 2006, UK beat Clemson on a neutral field
In 2007, UK beat Florida State on a neutral field

8-5-0 = UK all time against Taters
4-1-1 = UK all time against Free Shoes U

UK is no heavyweight in SEC football, so just a guess here that neither would do as well as they think they would. As for the other sports, here is this years Directors Cup…..

#10 Kentucky in SEC
#13 Florida State (spring seems to be Free Shoes U's best season)
#52 Clemson (0.0 for winter not a good think for the Taters)

If in the East, both Clemson and FSU would win it regularly. If in the West, they'd be challenging Bama and LSU. In down years, they'd probably be 4 or 5 loss teams.

They would do very well. It would be a 3 way dogfight with them and Alabama for 1st place. Just look at recent history. Some of you guys need to put away your SEC colored glasses.

Depends on which division they were in. I mean Missouri.... Missouri for christsakes - came in and dominated the SEC Easy.

Well, if they both beat Bama back to back, I'd guess they would fair well ??

Well, the reason those two teams are so good in the ACC is that they are both located in the heart of Dixie where most of the best college football players in the country come from.

Nonetheless, I wish they were in the SEC, but those universities elected to stay in the ACC where the competition isn't as stiff and where it is far easier for them to win conference championships. Hence, they will never have the notoriety that elite SEC football programs have since the ACC is a second rung football conference relative to the SEC.

there's a handful of programs who could consistently compete with the sec elite; ok, clempson, fsu, ohio st. seriously, that's about it.
