It is amazing how we waste so much talent and resources. If we ever back into a coach like Saban, we could go on a deep decade long run.

Doesn't have as much to do with the coach, as it does the QB. If we have a really good QB, we're an SEC title team pretty much every time. If we don't, we're 7-5 or 8-4. And no, that isn't the case for every team. Plenty of teams have good QBs and don't win the SEC.

Malzahn has this program in phenomenal shape. I think his best coaching is ahead of him.

Agreed if Malzahn can figure out the Chip Offense sharing experiment.

While we've had talent for the past decade, this is the first time we've had balanced talent acros the roster. I feel like that is a bigger deal than people want to recognize

Friend of mine mentioned he watched a preseason NFL game and both of the starting QBs went to Tenn. (he is a Tenn. fan). I had to pause and think when there was a time that AU had a starting QB in the NFL for preseason or regular season. Unless I am wrong, you have Cam (obvious) but then you have to go all the way back to Jason Campbell. Think about that for a moment. That is a huge gap.
